African Phoenix

African Phoenix Guest Lodge is a wholly black owned family business, registered with CIPRO and SARS. It was founded by Mvuzo and Lungiswa Mbebe and is based in 134 Parkland Drive, Esther Park, Kempton Park.

The positioning of African Phoenix Guest Lodge (AP) is based on the legendary Arabian bird icon, the Phoenix.  The Phoenix distinguishing characteristics are uniqueness, continuous rebirth, vigour and rising above the rest. It embodies strength, courage and the ability to soar to greater heights, in addition to its mystical powers.  Africaness is associated with Ubuntu (we are who we are because of others) – the humanity in us, spirituality, hospitality, sharing and birth of human kind. The African Phoenix additional attributes are mystic beauty and rhythmic soul found nowhere else.  This is what the AP brand stands for.

The goal of African Phoenix Guest Lodge, Spa, Conference and Business Centre (AP) is to become The First Choice Boutique Hotel Style Guest Lodge in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni and in Gauteng. The unique selling proposition for AP is the intimate one stop shop product offering - a true African experience with first world infrastructure. The business person will be able to “Close the Deal”, whilst relaxing in a peaceful and tranquil environment. AP will remain uncompromising on the highest standards of comfort and service, expected in a five star type hospitality establishment.
